cement block system
It is a robust construction in the intended form and with an excellent price/quality ratio.
What is cement block pool construction?
It is a construction with empty concrete blocks with reinforced iron measuring 50x20x20.
This empty concrete block construction system allows you to shape the pool to the customer's space, whether in a straight and regular shape.
Why build pools with this system?
This construction method has advantages and disadvantages.
Benefits
- Any type of pool can be built using this system, whether buried, above ground, infinity or others;
- Watertight 100% coating in armed screen;
- The construction can be made in any format desired by the customer, from traditional rectangular to oval or round pools;
- It is easy to adapt the blocks to the planned places where the pillars are implemented;
- The cost-benefit ratio is one of the best considering the final quality.
Disadvantages
- Blocks are heavier to handle;
- The tank is not watertight, which means that the screen must be fitted by professionals in order to guarantee its watertightness.
Construction Process in Cement Blocks
Regardless of the type of pool, in general, the construction process includes, above all, the following points:
- Land Assessment / Soil Analysis
- Structure Calculation
- Project
- Excavation
An iron mesh is then placed on the bottom (sun mesh or frame, which depends on the size of the pool and the type of soil). After this step, the iron framework of the pillars is placed (at least 10mm iron) and then the C20/25 reinforced concrete is placed.
The walls are then raised with 50x20x20 cement blocks, where the block is placed with the hole facing down and assembled as a brick system. After the walls are up, it's time to formwork and fill the pillars with concrete.
In small pools, as a rule, only one strap (horizontal lintel) is placed on the last row of blocks, to provide greater security. However, depending on the size of the pool and if it is larger, these straps (horizontal lintel) can be placed in the middle and/or close to the floor.
The interior of the pool tank is then plastered (externally it is not necessary) and all the necessary finishes are applied in order to place the reinforced screen.

Polystyrene block system
An original concept that combines the lightness and malleability of polystyrene with the solidity of concrete.
What does it mean to build swimming pools in polystyrene blocks?
It means that the walls of your pool are built with polystyrene blocks, commonly called styrofoam blocks, which allow a faster construction because they are light, robust and very manageable.
The polystyrene blocks have a dimension of 1,250mm and can be easily cut every 250mm. These 250mm modules can be reused, for example, for support pillars on the terrace.
These blocks are extremely easy to assemble and are highly manoeuvrable. The system for laying the polystyrene blocks using a double row of spikes guarantees a stable and hermetic formwork, as well as being resistant to cold and water.
The inner and outer sides are smooth. The lightness of the material and simple placement, combined with a low price, make this construction system very advantageous.
This system makes it possible to build the tank for the security cover and interior stairs in different formats.

Advantages of Polystyrene Block Construction
The construction in polystyrene blocks has a high set of advantages:
- Lighter and more maneuverable compared to cement blocks
- Dedicated “Liner – Screen” rail for easy assembly
- No leaks, gaskets over 90% block length
- Easy installation of the sealing parts (cut with a saw and stick with PU foam)
- Using the same block for the stairs
- Mechanical guarantee for S3 cement pouring (destructive test every hour in production: 2.5 T/m2)
- One of the best performing insulations on the market R of 3.06 m2.K/W
- No need for plastering, since the sides of the block are already smooth
- Greater pool heating
Disadvantages
- The application of reinforced canvas coating must be done by professionals.
Construction Process of Swimming Pools in Polystyrene Blocks
The process of building swimming pools in polystyrene blocks is the same as described above for the construction of swimming pools in cement blocks. Only the walls of the pool itself (the tank) have different types of blocks, thus using polystyrene as a lighter and more economical material.

Wood System
The natural beauty of the wooden pools fits perfectly into the garden and harmonizes with the natural surroundings. Wooden pools can be installed in the ground, built-in or partially built-in.
How is the construction of wooden swimming pools carried out?
Surface
It is always recommended that a wooden pool be mounted on top of a level concrete base construction. Bear in mind that a wooden swimming pool, once filled with water, can weigh several tons. Therefore, and depending on the pool model and its capacity, a concrete base may not be necessary, but it is always recommended.
The installation location can be outside or inside a house. Being outdoors, the terrain must be taken into account and indoors or in an attic, the place must necessarily have the necessary technical requirements to guarantee its safety:
- The floor must be able to support the entire weight;
- The impermeability of the floor;
- There must be good ventilation in the place;
- The possibility of water drainage must be taken into account;
For each model of wooden swimming pool sold by us, we clearly indicate whether a concrete base is necessary or not.
Installation Method
The wooden swimming pools that we sell can be placed in different ways.
The installation can be done at ground level, completely underground or partially underground. The only requirements are that there must be a minimum surrounding area of at least 20cm above the dimensions of the pool. The pools are accompanied by a lot of documentation explaining all the requirements. However, if you have any doubts before purchasing, do not hesitate to contact us.

As a rule, in the vast majority of small models, the installation will be ready in one day.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Building a Wooden Pool
