AquaFinesse SpaClean
AquaFinesse SpaClean Tablets thoroughly clean the pipes and interior of your spa. Even with a new spa, water often remains in the pipes because manufacturers first test the spa before it goes on the market. This often creates biofilm and limescale in the pipes before you start using your hot tub.
This comes at the expense of the lifespan of your spa and the quality of the water.
Then the AquaFinesse SpaClean comes in handy. This cleans your entire spa, including the piping, and thus removes biofilm and limescale build-up from your pipes.
We also recommend cleaning with these AquaFinesse SpaClean tablets before changing the water. This is usually done every three to four months.
Simple treatment
1. Remove the spa filter and make sure all jets and air valves are open for best water flow.
Optional: If you have granular chlorine, you can increase the chlorine level to 3-5 ppm before step 2.
This is recommended when the spa is very dirty.
2. Dissolve the AquaFinesse SpaClean tablet in a bucket of warm (spa) water before adding it to the spa water.
3. Run pumps at full power for 20 minutes to allow good flow*
Repeat pump activation at least 2 to 3 times over the next 6 to 12 hours.
(Depending on the severity of the problem)
4. Finish the treatment with one more activation of the pumps and then empty the spa.
Rinse the spa with fresh water. (do not use any other cleaner)
5. Place the filter back into the spa and you are ready to resume or begin maintenance with AquaFinesse hot tub water treatment.
* If foam appears during the cleaning process, do not touch or inhale it.
